Who we are
SoundHive (soundhive.music) is a new music platform built by an independent artist in the United States. It isn't open yet. Right now the site is a waitlist. Questions? Write to support@soundhive.music.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Whether you're an artist or band, a fan, or a collaborator.
- If you add them: your band or artist name (or what you do), and your city.
- If you came from a link with a tag on it (like a post that says where it was shared), that tag.
- The date and time you joined.
That's all. There are no accounts or passwords yet, we don't take payments, and the site uses no ads, no tracking cookies and no analytics tools.
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser types) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To tell you when SoundHive opens. Artists on the list get to set up their pages first.
- To understand where interest is coming from, like which cities, so we know where to focus.
We'll only email you about the launch. No spam.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. It's stored with our hosting provider, Railway, on servers in the United States. When we send launch emails, we'll use an email service to deliver them and give it only your email address for that.
How long we keep it
Until the launch, and after that only while it's useful for the launch, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Your choices
Email support@soundhive.music to see what we have, change it, or remove yourself from the list. Every email we send will also have a way to stop getting them.
Children
SoundHive isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child joined, write to us and we'll remove it.
Changes
When SoundHive opens (with accounts, music and payments), this policy will change, and we'll update the date above. If a change matters to people on the list, we'll email you about it.
